Men's squash falls to Franklin & Marshall at home on Friday night

The Hamilton College Continentals returned from winter break Friday night to play their first match since December 2 and fell 9-0 to Franklin & Marshall College at Hamilton's Little Squash Center.

The Continentals (0-4 overall) welcomed back three juniors from the College's study abroad programs. Callum Sondhi '20, Tristan Chaix '20 and Jarrod Gerstein '20 competed at the first, third and sixth positions, respectively. Franklin & Marshall (5-1) is 17th in the latest College Squash Association Team Ranking.

The Continentals aim to bounce back next weekend as they play six matches in four days. Hamilton travels to Middlebury, Vermont, to take on Middlebury College on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m. After that, the Continentals move on to Amherst, Massachusetts, for matches against Colby College on Friday, Stanford University and Amherst College on Saturday, and Wesleyan University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology on Sunday. The team returns to Clinton on Saturday, Jan. 26 to honor their seniors before a 2 p.m. match against Colgate University.
