The Hamilton College Continentals took down visiting Connecticut College by a score of 7-2 on Saturday afternoon in a NESCAC match played inside Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
The Continentals (5-11, 1-5 NESCAC) posted their first conference win since April 27, 2013, when they defeated these same Camels in New London.
In first flight singles play, Sam Farber '20 defeated his opponent in two sets and recorded his 10th victory. Max Zimmerman '21 claimed his team-leading 15th win as he battled to a second flight victory in two close sets.
Eyad Nagori '18 dominated his third flight opponent for the 24th win of his Hamilton career. Nagori and Farber teamed up in doubles play for the first time this season and defeated their second flight opponents.
Jafar Sharipov '21 posted his 10th singles win, defeating his fifth flight opponent in three tough sets. Matthew Haas '19 finished off singles play with a sixth flight triumph and improved his record to 24-12 with the Continentals.
Hamilton was scheduled to wrap up its 2017-18 season at nationally ranked No. 4 Williams College on Sunday, April 29, but the match was cancelled.
