Cat Berry '19 (Mansfield, Ohio/Western Reserve Academy) and Eli Saucier '18 (Douglasville, Ga./Hiram HS) will compete at the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex from May 24 through May 26.
Berry qualified for the 200-meter dash with a season-best time of 24.87 seconds at the NESCAC Championships on April 28. She is seeded 20th among the 22 national qualifiers. Berry is competing in the 200 meters for the second year in a row, finishing 14th at the 2017 NCAA Championships. The Mansfield, Ohio, native set the school record of 24.66 seconds last year.
Saucier is making his first appearance at the outdoor championships, competing in both the men's 100 and 200 meters. Saucier qualified for the 100 meters at the NESCAC Championships with a time of 10.64 seconds and finished second in the 200 at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships on May 17 with a qualifying time of 21.47 seconds. The Douglasville, Ga., native holds the school record in both events and is seeded 15th in the 200 and 16th in the 100 out of 20 national qualifiers. He finished ninth in the 200 meters at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships back in early March.
