The Hamilton women are making their first appearance in the poll since 2013. The Continentals captured the team title in their Hamilton Short Course Invitational on Sept. 8. The Continentals finished with 33 team points while then-nationally ranked No. 10 Ithaca College racked up 40.

Hamilton's Grace Heller '19 topped the 107-runner field with a time of 14:44.2 on the 4-kilometer course. Heller, who competed in the 2017 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, was more than 19 seconds ahead of the athlete in second place.

The Continentals are off this weekend and return to the course on Saturday, Sept. 22 for Williams College's Purple Valley Classic at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
